What is GPIC? 
GPIC (Geology Professional Interest Committee) is a monthly technical meeting, drinks and dinner held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Basement on View, 50 View St, Bendigo (under the Capital Theatre).
A half hour technical presentation begins at 7:30 on various mining, exploration and historical topics presented by industry representatives.
There is time before and after the presentations for interaction and networking and attendees are encouraged to gather earlier for dinner from 6:00PM.
GPIC is jointly run by the Victorian Branch of the AIG an the Central Victorian Branch of the AusIMM

Entry is $5 for AIG/AusIMM members, $10 for nonmembers and free for students
Plans are in place to run GPIC meetings at other locations and for specialist discipines
